I'm so excited to learn more about your newly adopted gardening techniques. Will check out the book. Do you use cold frames?? It's way too cold to plant directly outdoors here - we ususally have to wait until June (at least). Your garden boxes are great and remind me of my own - with the straw covering. :) Happy Gardening SillyCon and family!!! :)
Thanks Lala, I start some of the seeds inside, but others I directly sow into the ground, I am also trying to follow the biodynamic calendar to do this.
I like the beds too, especially cause they used to be the front steps of my Mama's house..hee hee, repurposing at its best!
Oooh - too cold to be out barefoot around here! We wore winter coats to Easter service today, although it has warmed up to 13C now (55F). We likely won't be planting anything until the end of May - probably the Victoria Day weekend.
Hi there and thanks for coming by. My name is Constance and I love colour, laughing, all things bizarre, the cutting edge and the dutch.
I live and love life on Vancouver Island doing our best to live a deliberate and creative life with my delightful children who I collectively call NoNi, handsome not husband(HNH) and scaredy cat Ooh-La.
