D.I.Y

I want to know how to do everything, I want to like how it looks, and I'm usually working within a tight budget. My film background has been an excellent training ground for D.I.Y. but I'm pretty sure I suffered from D.I.Y.ism long before I became a costumer. Alot of the fun is doing research and I love to order books at the library via the internet..sometimes you don't know what you're going to get...



Who doesn't want to sew and cook at the same time?


Carpet in the bathroom..to prevent "looking too sterile"



Built in deep fryer.. a must have. Pre foodsafe design...just slap that raw chicken down on the counter!



But I digress. We recently completed a major D.I.Y. and I wanted to share the before and after:









There was once a major disconnect between the house and the backyard. It was so isolating to be back there..not anymore! It was well within our budget too at less than $500 (the doors were $1.00 each!!?)










My sister and I refurbished the shed into a treefort (I'll show you in a later post)



The next D.I.Y on my mind is the kitchen...you can help! It's not that bad really...and it does'nt cost anything to dream.
